Peeling – a great way to keep your skin healthy

Taking care of your skin and body is a very important step of daily care, especially for women. It is not only a good way to look beautiful, but also an action that will help you keep your skin in good condition

Forget about skin problems

For all skin problems the best is peeling – both the one bought in drugstores or stores with natural cosmetics, as well as the one prepared at home. Peeling is an English word meaning “peeling”. In practice, the whole procedure involves getting rid of old skin, in place of which new skin appears. Regularly performed peeling will help to add glow to the skin, firm the face and body and eliminate the problem of dry skin.

Exfoliation is a must-have skin care item that not only benefits your appearance, but also provides a good foundation for other treatments. However, keep in mind that not every skin type responds well to it, so approach the matter quite carefully and test a few products. If you are very prone to allergies, it is best to prepare the scrub on your own from familiar ingredients. It is worth remembering that in addition to supporting the natural processes of exfoliation, peeling also has a positive impact on the condition of the epidermis. When we do not perform cleansing treatments regularly, the skin looks more neglected and dull. In addition, it also often shows a tendency to produce blackheads, pimples and dryness. Cleansed skin is ready to accept lotions and creams, whose components are much better absorbed. Exfoliation also improves the appearance of a natural tan – it then becomes fresh, even and lasts longer.

Types of peelings

Scrub illuminates the face, oxygenates it and improves circulation. Depending on our needs we can use both types of scrubs with particles and enzymatic scrubs which have the same properties. They are slightly milder and recommended mainly for problematic skin. Peels are available in all drugstores and pharmacies, however, very popular are also peels made at home with natural ingredients. Thanks to this we can be sure that the composition of our peeling is 100% natural and well suited to our individual needs, and what is more important it is much cheaper and more effective.

Ideas for homemade scrubs

To make homemade scrubs, products that we also use on a daily basis will suffice. The two most popular scrubs are the cinnamon scrub and of course the coffee scrub

  1. Cinnamon scrub – mix 3 tablespoons of cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar. Add to the mixture two tablespoons of olive oil, which has moisturizing properties. Cinnamon is one of the most effective natural products that stimulate blood circulation. When applied to the face, it firms it and gives it a youthful glow.
  2. Coffee peeling – brew coffee and drain the grounds. Add egg white to it and massage vigorously. Wash off your face after two minutes. Coffee narrows pores and removes dead skin, making the skin look younger.

It is worth remembering that we can also perform this kind of cleansing treatment at the beautician. The most popular is the cavitation peeling, which is available in almost every beauty salon. In conjunction with appropriate home care can work wonders. A big advantage of this procedure is its versatility – it can be performed on any skin type, regardless of the age of the client. Many women are also interested in other cosmetic peels – these are various types of exfoliating acids, ultrasound treatments or microdermabrasion. All these treatments have one purpose – to exfoliate dead skin and allow new skin to appear. It is best to choose a method taking into account your individual preferences and skin needs.
