Silk probably does not need to be introduced to anyone – it is a fabric that is soft, slippery, airy and pleasant to the touch. It looks great on any silhouette, as it perfectly adapts to the figure. Clothes sewn from this material are slightly more expensive, but it is an investment for years. Silk is resistant to stretching, and its fibers are resilient, so the garment retains its original appearance for a long time. Clothes sewn from cashmere cost a little, but everything is rewarded by quality and beautiful appearance. It is a lightweight fabric, so it sits nicely on the figure. To strengthen it, wool is often added to it. Anyone who appreciates elegance and comfort will be pleased with cashmere clothes. There are two types of cashmere available on the market. The first, a nobler one, is more expensive and can be bought mainly in luxury boutiques. The second, on the other hand, is a second-class fabric and you can get it even in chain stores.
Linen is a fabric ideal for summer. It feels cool to the touch and gives a feeling of freshness. It absorbs moisture perfectly, so you won’t see wet sweat stains on your clothes. Linen is an extremely durable fabric. On the silhouette it looks not only elegant, but also timeless. Unfortunately, this material creases quite easily and is difficult to iron.
Natural leather is extremely durable, and at the same time does not cause allergic reactions and is air permeable. If you want to add a touch of elegance to your styling, accessories made of natural leather, such as a belt, handbag or shoes, are ideal. They will work well both for everyday wear and for evening outings.
Tweed differs in many ways from other popular fabrics. First of all, it is much thicker and has a distinctive texture – usually a peplite or herringbone pattern. It is a durable material, and at the same time extremely stylish. It is ideal for women’s closet in the form of coats and elegant outfits.
Most of us certainly associate wool with the winter months, when we put on wool coats, hats and scarves. This material has excellent heat-insulating and hygroscopic properties, thus protecting us from the cold and getting wet. Unfortunately, wool can be allergenic, which makes it not a material for everyone. It also requires proper care – otherwise it quickly becomes moldy and changes its shape. Wool clothes and accessories add chic and elegance, and are perfect for colder days.
Suede is pleasant to wear, as it allows the skin to breathe. It is lightweight, warm and soft. Because of its delicate structure, it requires proper care. Unfortunately, the material is not resistant to water and mechanical damage. However, it is as elegant as leather.
